Steps to clean or edit form history in all browsers

Considering all of the above, you may want to disable the autocomplete function to prevent any personal data you have used while browsing from continuing to appear. You can do this very simply and quickly in each of your preferred browsers.

In Chrome

If you frequently use Google Chrome and want to prevent this data from being stored, then it is important that you perform each of the steps below to disable this function :

  • Go to Google Chrome and click on the menu in the browser toolbar represented by three horizontal dots .
  • Then select the “Configuration” option.

For Mozilla Firefox this process is very similar to Chrome, for this simply follow each of these steps:

  • In the main window of Mozilla Firefox click on the three horizontal lines at the top right of your screen.

In Microsoft EDGE

Another popular and currently used browser is Microsoft Edge or also known as Internet Explorer. Here too will create a form record of all the information you enter while visiting different websites.
